Environmental Health

Individuals and populations are continually exposed to hazards arising from their use of consumer products, in food and drink, in the workplace and in the broader environment.

Determining the magnitude and relative threat of these environmental health risks is important for effective allocation of resources in the public and private sectors. RSI has worked with both public and private sector clients to help identify potential environmental health hazards and to clarify the extent of risk associated with different levels of contamination.

Matters of environmental health are particularly prone to uncertainty and controversy. RSI works with clients to understand the nature of public controversy, the diverse perceptions, values and judgments which ignite and sustain the debates. RSI helps clients to understand what’s really at stake, to clarify and balance their short and long term objectives and to develop strategies to engage and participate positively in risk issue management.
